Only two days left..it’s almost time! 2050 is the year of the big pay-out. Since the beginning of spring, the display on the New World Clock at Allesandersplatz has been blinking in pink letters, announcing the exact date on which surplus property will be returned to the state. This flows into the pots from which money for education, nature conservation, politics and social welfare is scooped. Slowly the first rays of sunshine stretch over the Allesandersplatz, it hums chirps and tweets in and over the meadow. A few early risers go for a walk, lie in the grass. A few particularly motivated ones are already climbing the walls of the in- and outdoor climbing hall. In the studios to the left of the climbing hall, not much is stirring yet, but through a window, you can see a dishevelled head leaning lazily against an easel.
